About This Event
This continuing education opportunity provides veterinarians and technicians 1 hour of a detailed overview of Alfaxan Multidose and its clinical application. It explores alfaxalone’s science, safety, versatility, and reliability.
Dr. Elizabeth Martinez DVM, DACVAA is a board-certified member of the American College of Veterinary Anesthesia and Analgesia. In addition to training veterinary surgeons and nurses on the use of Alfaxan® Multidose injectable anesthetic, she is collaborating on the development of the company’s Think Anesthesia® platform, an initiative that communicates best anesthesia practices to the veterinary community.
Dr. Martinez completed her undergraduate degree and attended veterinary medical school at the University of Tennessee in Knoxville, TN. Subsequently, Dr. Martinez completed an internship and residency in Veterinary Anesthesia at Cornell University in Ithaca, NY. She joined the faculty of the College of Veterinary Medicine at Texas A&M University in College Station, TX in 1990 both practicing and teaching anesthesiology there for the past 28 years until joining the Jurox Technical Services Team in 2018.
