About This Event
In this hour, we will review the diagnostic plan, treatment and overall prognosis for protein losing nephropathy (PLN). We will start with a brief review of the causes of PLN in both dogs and cats. We will also discuss the diagnostic work up for patients with varying levels of severity of PLN. We will review the recommendations for treatment of PLN, as well as some of the newer therapies such telmisartan and discuss when immunosuppression may be indicated.
